The Tussock Peak Motor Lodge is a great place to stay in Hanmer -
extremely clean and tidy - the largest two bedroomed apartment we have
used during our tour of nz and by no means the most expensive - great
value for money. - far enough away from the restaurants to be quiet at
night but close enough for a gentle stroll to the centre of the town.
Just across the road from the hot pool complex - hire towels from the
Tussock Peak - cheaper than hiring from the Hot Pool complex

The apartments are very spacious and decorated beautifully. Everything
was very clean. Modern and stylish but practical and comfortable. The
fireplace created so much atmosphere. The staff were fantastic,helpful
and great sources of local info and went that extra mile which is highly
unusual these days. -

The service was great, the price was also. It was very handy having the restaurant next door at the Hot Springs Hotel the meals were brilliant and such great value for money. The rooms were exceptionally clean also. We will definately be returning with the rest of the family soon. -

Loved our stay with the aspen lodge, there were alot of nice little
touches that made us feel like we were staying in a 5 star hotel, like
little sweets and cookies in our room. As we arrived back from a
relaxing swim at the hotpools, not only was our room immaculate but they
had left us a fresh basket of muffins on our table,the perfect thing to
have after a long swim .I would recommend this place to anyone!!

Select Braemar Lodge is number one on my list of accommodation we have stayed in New Zealand. We have travelled to many parts of the world and Braemar is second on this list. I could not fault Braemar, it is sure luxury and the staff made you feel like royalty. For that quiet peaceful weekend away I would recommend them to everyone. -

everything about the chalets were great. they are in grounds surrounded by trees and the birdsong is wonderful. there are views of the mountains, you can walk to the thermal pools. theres golf close by if you want it. we loved staying there and would deffinatly stay again. super hosts jock and pat,very helpful and friendly.

The hosts were very friendly, helpful, accessible and accommodating. It had a modern homely feel to the place and was exceptionally clean. The continental breakfast had a broad selection of food and they were very accommodating about special dietary requirements. The location was quiet and peaceful but also so close to township/pools. I would strongly recommend and would stay again.

Everything. Graham and Karima were excellent hosts and I would recommend Scarborough lodge to anyone. It was homely, well apportioned, decor and facilities couldn't be bettered. The whole ambience of both the Lodge and the owners again could not be bettered. -

Everything. The room was delightful. Attention to detail was perfect. Everything you could possible want. The sheets were divine, the outlook beautiful and peaceful, toiletries were luxurious and the suite contained every facility you would need. We had to cut our stay short due to unforeseen events but we will definitely be back -
