  Localização - it's not big but very cozy. and the major advantage, i guess, is its location right in the center of the city. both the major sightseenigs, small restaurants and underground are in the immediate vicinity. it allowed me to see all the main spots on the eastern bank of Tevere in one day. i'm really glad that i found this hotel. and also... o que as pessoas dizem » i would say that the staff was very friendly and helpful, i only wish they had more space on the reception :-) - The really friendly and helpful staff

  We had some difficulties with our booking due to unclear communication with bookings.com but the hotel staff, in particular Claudio was fantastic and sorted it out for us very pleasantly and efficiently.   The design of Hotel Metropolis was very cool--modern, clean, chic. I absolutely loved the decor in our room and throughout the hotel. Our room was a good size for two people--just enough space--and the bathroom was very modern and clean (something that can be a rarity in other Italian hotels). The Lepanto a metro stop is just a few blocks away, so seeing the rest of Rome is easy and getting to the Termini train station is very convenient.   Great value, basic, functional hotel. Ideal for pre cruise overnight in Civitavechia which is what we did. Staff (Ana) were extremely friendly, and helpful, the room was clean and a good shower. Breakfast was nicely presented continental style, meat, cheese, croissants, yogurt, cereals, tea, coffee.   Very good location right in the center close to the main city attractions and boutiques. We lived in a double room facing the yard with a nice balcony. It was very calm, cosy and clean. Breakfast was also very good. Trevi fountain is very close to the hotel, as well as several historic churches and other magnificent monuments. We had a triple room with a balcony and it was just perfect. Refrigerator is in the room. Full shower and bath. We cannot wait to come back and visit Rome again ...it was truly a magical trip. We enjoyed the size and cleanliness of the room and appreciated having a breakfast in the morning. The dining room served a wonderful dinner as well.
