Positives: Casa Santa Sophia is a delight!
Joined to the convent, it is run by the Catechist Sisters of St Anne (there's mass every morning at 06:50, if you fancy joining them).
Simply furnished, this is a very basic hotel, and not one for a "romantic weekend" perhaps, but a perfect crash-pad for friends having a break in Rome.

We had chosen the Seccy Hotel for our last night in Italy, mainly due to close distance to International Airport. The hotel is a well-cared old building which has a lot of facilities for disabled people. The breakfast is really great with a lot of choices (the coffee machine was my favorite!!!).

Nice and cozy rooms with new modern furniture. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, they recommended very good restaurants in Rome and also helped us find some of the locations we wanted to visit. It's a small place, but very clean and with a good vibe, we felt safe and it was a pleasure to come back after a day walking.
Breakfast was simple, don't expect more than for a typical 2 stars hotel, but we found it enough for all tastes. The rest of the hotel however was much above 2 stars.

We stayed for 4 nights in a suite, which was quite comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed having a kitchen and that the living room was big enough for our kid to play. The breakfast is quite adequate, we also enjoyed having a pool. The location is good with big garden very close and the tram station right at the entrance to the residence.
