We were traveling with my parents on a special trip and Mario and Valentina couldn't have made us feel more welcome and comfortable. Generous and helpful, he booked us tables at the most interesting restaurants nearby and filled us in on the fascinating history of this interesting town (over grappa). The rooms themselves embody this history and are each different, without sacrificing luxury. Simplicity as well as attention to details. Thoroughly recommend.

  I could go on and on about this totally charming b & B. It is beautifully appointed, the location is awesome, Matera is incredible, and there are so many great restaurants the choices are dizzying. But the hospitality shown to us by the owner and his family made us feel like we were neighbors.
