  What was there not to like ? We were greeted, cared and catered for in a first class manner, by the professional and friendly staff at the Hotel.   The Villa Plattensee is a amazing hotel. The owner and his team are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are great and well laid out. It is a place to relax and unwind. The breakfast buffet was good and I enjoyed reading a book on the pool afterwards. The hotel is close to the lake and with a rented bike I had great excursions. We will be back - Loved this hotel, we stayed the night after our wedding, we chose this hotel as it is the finest in the area, the rooms were very comfortable and extremely large, we had breakfast in a beautiful elevated conservatory which overlooked the clean blue swimming pool, a lovely golden retriever resident was very friendly!

  This is a simple guest house but a very good one with excellent facilities for the money. The villa is a 10-minute walk down to the lakeside and the walk itself is very pleasant. The owners were delightful, friendly but also knew to leave us to do our own thing. They were also very accommodating in terms of any requests we had.
