  What was there not to like ? We were greeted, cared and catered for in a first class manner, by the professional and friendly staff at the Hotel.   The Villa Plattensee is a amazing hotel. The owner and his team are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are great and well laid out. It is a place to relax and unwind. The breakfast buffet was good and I enjoyed reading a book on the pool afterwards. The hotel is close to the lake and with a rented bike I had great excursions. The owner came by the same evening trying to resolve our issue, as it was Sunday evening with a blizzard outside her IT technician was unable to fix the issue until the next day. In the meanwhile she offered us to keep the existing room and get an additional free room, to use as a study, where the Wi-Fi coverage was better. In general they’ve been very helpful and made our st
