Professional, friendly and helpful staff - greeted us with a smile and a
welcome every time we passed through the lobby. Even the housekeeping
staff and others were exceptionally friendly - they demonstrated that

The hotel was a good value and close to the lake and shops. The bed was comfortable and I liked having a large Jacuzzi in my room. I didn't spend much time in my room so it was perfect for what I needed, a hot shower, comfortable bed and a peace and quiet. Also the room was actually two rooms, one for the bed and one as a sitting area. -

I received a very warm and friendly welcome from Ana in the Chelsea
Pines Inn, and all the staff there were charming and lovely throughout
my short stay. The location of this Inn is excellent - a few steps away
from an underground station, Chelsea Market and the High Line. Small
touches like complimentary water and printing facilities makes Chelsea
Pines Inn compare favourably to more upscale places I stayed in ny
(where they were charging $8 for a small bottle of water!).

This place can only be as good as the people who stay there - the walls
between rooms in the sleeping area don't reach the ceiling and every
sneeze is audiable to everyone (you can't hear check-in counter or
