Excellant food at evening meal. A relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel bar.The room was very nice, and the service was excellent. I left a phone charger and some toiletries in the room, and these were returned to me by post free of charge which I thought was excellent. Good location with quiet relaxing and comfortable surroundings - in the heart of the town.restaurant and bar staff v. frinedly and v. good service. Comfortable hotel with helpful staff.Refreshingly helpful staff. I asked for a quiet room without too many stairs and this request was met. Food and drink prices reasonable and good quality. Large comfortable bed. The hotel was in a good central position for the town, our stay was very pleasant, the staff most helpful. We only ate breakfast in the hotel but it was delicious.Food in restaurant was very good. Staff were attentive and pleasant. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. The food. Excellent location, nice characterful hotel. Most staff were helpful and friendly. Plenty of included parking.staff very helpful, good location, good breakfast. Staff very friendly, food excellent. The staff were very freindly. Its convenient location. The food, dinner and breakfast, was excellent in the conservatoryrestaurant. Our room on the 2nd floor was quite hot, even though the weather was cool - I can only imagine it would get very hot if the weather was better, and the open window meant traffic noise.Small main course portion served in bar. (sea bass), Although of qaulity let down by miniscule portion. The room we stayed in was by a bolier which was at times very noisy.Tiny TV and as my husband is an F1 Grand Prix fan that was the only disappointment as the final race was on the weekend we stayed at the hotel. My husband and I are vegetarians and the hot breakfast was not very good. The breakfast wasn't as good as I had anticipated. The room was very very warm, with very little ventilation. The room was painted dark green - we found this to be dark and depressing. one gripe asked for paper, expected it outside our door wasnt there. apparently waiting at breakfast table but we did not have breakfast. no quibble when we mentioned it and it was taken off bill. For a "superior" room, the bathroom was rather basic and in need of proper renovation rather than the obvious cosmetic one it has had. Also TV should be bigger than a tiny portable one. The car park surface("muddy stones") also needs attention - the dirt carries into the car in the wet. We could not open any windows because we were on the ground floor and the window had no top opening. Bed very hard.A superior room was booked and although room was clean decor could do with improvement. Plumbing in bathroom was noisy and at one stage pressure dropped so that toilet could not be flushed. Wi-Fi never worked during the five days, with various excuses offered but no solution. The 'double' bed was two twin beds pushed together, of slightly uneven heights, and with a definite gap in the middle. Duvet rather than sheets and blankets. Ran out of keg beer/real ale on Sunday, and with Monday a holiday too. Room overlooked main street and so was noisy at night.bar prices - £5 for a bottle of magners !!!!!! Room could do with re-decoration. 1st room we were shown, the bathroom wall was covered in blue mould so got moved to another room which was quite small for £140 per night!!. The bed in room two was so hard I could not sleep and had abad attack of saiatic. Also I was served a steak that was ineddible and got no appology. The price I paid was fair but had I had to pay the full price for our 'superior' room then my rating would have been poor.Very small lounge, not enough easy chairs to go round. Tv in the roomwas so old it was a joke and only channel 4 available.

Miasto Stow odwiedzane jest już od 1107 roku, kiedy to król Henryk I założył w nim rynek. W 1476 roku król Edward IV nadał miastu prawo do organizacji jarmarków, które do dziś odbywają się w maju i październiku.
