A real gem tucked away in a village just a couple of miles outside Mold. Local pub a few minutes walk away that served food. All the facilities of a larger hotel but at a fraction of the cost and much more comfortable. I would definitely choose again. -

My wife and i stayed here because we were invited to a wedding at plas Hafod hotel only a few miles away. If you ignore the refurbishment of outbuildings which if the design of the interior of the main house is considered holds well for future guests, the welcome and luxury of this guest house is worth it. The use of the word "Guest House" on their entrance board sums it up. We liked the interior design, and the modern although quite small en suite.

I was able to book the Coachhouse for just one night to facilitate a visit to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, which is great considering many self catering cottages impose a 3 nights minimum stay. The service provided was exceptionally welcoming, friendly and flexible. The location of the Coachhouse was perfect for access to the town and the zoo. -

In the kitchen you can find everything that you will need. The owners are very kind and nice people. If we go to the Wells we will stay here.

The hospitality was excellent, we were made most welcome. The upgrade to a better room was free as the room was available, the room being very comfortable and fantastic throughout. The outside compared to others in the area can be deceiving but don't let it trick you.
From the moment we walked in we felt walcomed, shown to our room which was upgraded free;) Perfect quiet location, only a short walk to the main streets. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! -

Absolutley everything. Alan and Ian were welcoming, beyond helpful.
