  We were very happy with our three night stay at Lancaster Gate Hotel and highly recommend it. The location is superb on a quiet street only a block from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. We had learned that there is variation in room sizes, but we were very happy with our spacious room and bath. People have commented on the expensive breakfast,... co mówią ludzie » but we were pleased to learn that the hotel offers three choices in the morning: a continental, a "light", and the full English breakfast. We enjoye - Hotel under renovations and road closed but it was never less good. An explanation of air conditioning would have been helpful. We saw 28 heat and thought it was ON so we were cold for a day. First time in 40 years of ANY hotel we we charged to store our luggage for a few hours--and also charged £10 an hours overstay when we requested late stay provided hotel not full. Our plane took off 6pm. Not a way to keep customers. On principle I would prefer to pay £25 more at the Radisson 4 stars nearby

You are very lucky to have them working for you because they obviously like people and take their job very seriously.   This is my second stay in this hotel and we got the highest floor instead of the basement which is a good start. Quite near to lancaster gate st, so it's easy for us to access the tube. Clean rooms as usual and friendly staffs. They have a storage room just in case you arrive earlier than the check in time or if you would like to keep your bags in... co mówią ludzie » the hotel for a while after checking out. Breakfast was delicious, a great english breakfast and it's all inclusive. Toilet on the upper floors are m - Good value for money! Most of the staff were friendly and helped us with what we needed. Breakfast was better than expected, no gourmet but the basic Brit bacon, eggs, beans & toast. Extra thanks for the very swift repairment of the leaking tap in our room! 24-h reception was good! If you're looking for a nice little budget room where you go to sleep and spend the rest of the time exploring London I can strongly recommend this hotel!

The hotel has a lift which many similar small hotels do not. The rooms are small but are comfortable (even an LCD TV).   We stay at lancaster gate as a family of six. we loved the location unlike some other guests reviews i did find the apts to be clean i alway wipe surfaces when ever i stay in hotels etc and i found all the surfaces kitchen,dinning table,bedside cabinets etc to be clean. as well as bedding.the apt are nice with a little touch of luxury but they mus... co mówią ludzie » t keep up with the maintance. - In my party of friends there was 5 adults and 2 children the youngest being 2. Our welcome was very warm and friendly. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was reasonably clean and was nice and toasty which after spending the evening in Hyde Park at Winter Wonderland was great!!!The location was perfect. I have already recommended it to friends.
