Excellent place to stay, offering fantastic value for money. Very spacious room with comfortable double bed, extra single bed and a large flatscreen TV. We arrived at midnight and the lady who greeted us at reception was very friendly - Comfort, warm welcome, very clean and very cute decoration. i appreciated the books available to read, the warm in the room...i was there for a concert so it was the perfect hotel and made my stay and weekend in Madrid PERFECT. Everything. I was travelling with friends, we were a 9 people group and had a perfect stay at Madrid. Close tho the city center (next to metro station). Just 15 minutes far from the heart of Madrid. It's really great place to stay. Clean spacious rooms, very close to
shops and really nice local restaurants. Hotel is situated on suburbs
area but this is not a disadvantage at all. Next to the hotel in the
neighborhood you can find asian shop with everything you need. I hope I
will back here as soon as it possible:)

Really nice hotel. Location is exactly what is mentioned in all other reviews. The girls from reception - Maria and Elena -were very hospitable and friendly and both deserve a certain salary increase. Rooms are not much specious but always clean and tidy. We spent just one night at the Hostal Macarena, when passing Madrid on our way back from holiday. It's a lovely place in the heart of Madrid (Plaza Mayor is just behind the corner!), surrounded by many bars, restaurants and little stores. The room is quite small, but well equipped and clean. Staff doesn't speak very good English, but is very nice.

Location, location, location! Two steps from the plaza Mayor and many other attractions, located on a little street with animation. Staff is courteous and helpful. They kept our luggage all day so we could walk around freely untill we left to take the train. Room was clean, confortable and big enough. Very good quality for the price. I recommend this hotel wihtout any hesitation.

The biggest bonus of this little family-run place is its unrivalled location facing the Royal palace. Staff are very responsive and punctual and the place has the charm of a 18th century building.

This is really nice and cosy Hotel located near the cental Square (less than 1 minute) and metro station (5 minutes). The staff is very polite and helpful. It cost its price and value. I will recomend it to my friend.
