The owner--Fabrice--has restored his home, which is the oldest in Rennes dating from the 15th century, in an historically-sensitive style and decorated it with authentic antiques. The room was elegant, quiet, and so comfortable that we were only sorry our visit was so brief because the location is perfect for visiting the old city. Our room was near the back - it was large, light, modern, with a spacious bathroom, good shower, good coffee maker/espressso machine (once we had figured out how to use it). Noise wasn't a problem. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location - walking distance from old town. Plenty of restaurants nearby (and a great boulangerie 50m down street).

The rooms are very comfortable, clean, with well equipped kitchen, staff is nice and helpful, no complications, price is very good, bus station is very near, self-service kiosk for late check-in is great, I definitely recomend it!
