Proximity to the cathedral was great. My husband and I could walk to it in less than 10 minutes. Although the breakfast was not included, it was worth the cost as it included fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, different breads, as well as scrambled and soft boiled eggs. We would recommend it to anyone who would be interested in visiting Chartres. -

I would strongly recommend this hotel to my friends for it's location, extremely friendly staff and comfort. It feels very chic but sits comfortably in the beautiful city of Chartres, literally by the cathedral

After a 500 mile drive the peace and tranquility was most welcome. We
arrived too late to find a restaurant but the proprietress happily laid
a table for us in the garden where we made up an al fresco meal under

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The house was very comfortable and the pre-ordered 5 course evening meal was first class. The owner also looks after dogs for her friends and being dog lovers this added to our enjoyment as there were 5 well behaved dogs rubbing around.

I initially booked this B&B because of it's secure parking on site. This was perfect for our purpose, and much more besides. Our Saint Martin room was charming, clean, well designed and very peaceful. The grounds are charming and the location is walkable in to Tours. The owners were very polite and helpful and we really couldn't fault our stay

La Héraudière is a lovely house with a delightful garden, and our room was stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was a particular pleasure.

Beautiful, very relaxing, great to wind down after a few days on the road. In it's own grounds and away from the city. Food was very good and with a nice wine what more do you need. Good location. The lovely room (junior suite at the attic) was smartly decorated, spacious and verry clean. Owners were absolutely charming and we felt well looked-after (although they don't speak english). Great breakfast with a real sense of old fashioned hotel. Free wifi with good connection.
