The hotel is beautiful. It is great to stay in a place that belonged to a famous artist - Samuel Coucke - and was restored with such love and care. You should definately ask about the history of this house - it is very interesting. The right place to stay in Brugge to fill the air of the city. The room was very large and lovely with a four poster bed and living
room area. The bathroom was large and very up-to-date with an amazing
stained glass window that had been made long ago at this very house.
Staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. The fresh breakfast was
wonderful and all this was within a 10 minute walk to the main plaza. We
wish we had booked more than one night and plan to go back the next time
we're in Europe.

What a hidden gem, literally hidden. Next to a tattoo parlour small sign above a doorbell is the only indication. Goormachtigh is a very knowledgeable man who seems can talk on ANY subject, he gave us a tour of the B&B which is a WHOLE apartment, spacious sitting room, spacious bedroom, spacious kitchen (you cannot cook in this but has microwave) and a great bathroom. We stayed 2 nights at this guesthouse and highly recommend it to all. The room was beautiful and spacious, the breakfast was delicious and very generous, the location is close to the main sights in Bruges but very calm and quiet, and the host/owner was extremely friendly and helpful.
