  We booked at very short notice travelling on 2 motorbikes and really didn't know what to expect as there were no reviews. We received a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. A major advantage was the parking behind the property pre-booking required. The room we were given was stunning.   The hotel is beautiful. It is great to stay in a place that belonged to a famous artist - Samuel Coucke - and was restored with such love and care. You should definately ask about the history of this house - it is very interesting. The right place to stay in Brugge to fill the air of the city. Huis 'T Schaep is located in the center of the city (3... mitä ihmiset sanovat » min walk from the Market square). There are 2 partkings near to the hotel ('T Zand parking cost less than 9 Euro per day - a very reasonable price in - The room was very large and lovely with a four poster bed and living room area. The bathroom was large and very up-to-date with an amazing stained glass window that had been made long ago at this very house. Staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. The fresh breakfast was wonderful and all this was within a 10 minute walk to the main plaza. We wish we had booked more than one night and plan to go back the next time we're in Europe.

  Had I known this little gem is so nice I would've have stayed in Bruges one or two days longer just to enjoy the place. This B&B is run by debutante owner (opened since Apr 2013) Goormachtigh (don't ask me to pronounce it) Michel. The bedroom is huge with a king size bed. The bathroom is spacious and clean. All and all a really homey fee - What a hidden gem, literally hidden. Next to a tattoo parlour small sign above a doorbell is the only indication. Goormachtigh is a very knowledgeable man who seems can talk on ANY subject, he gave us a tour of the B&B which is a WHOLE apartment, spacious sitting room, spacious bedroom, spacious kitchen (you cannot cook in this but has microwave) and a great bathroom. The hostess gave us very helpful maps immediately and lots of information about what to see and where to eat in Brugge. To top it off she took us to the train station the morning we checked out.
