Metra train station is essentially on the property. $4.25 puts you at
Union Station inChicago in about half an hour. But it doesn't run
past about 20:30 iirc.
Shuttle to the airport was prompt and quick.
The included breakfast was far better than most cheap-business-hotels'.

Location is very good and the service is very good as well. We can leave our luggage in the Holiday inn for 4 days for free. The luggage storage service is very convenient for foreign visitors. As a reminder, if you have got O'hare airport, you need to call the Holiday Inn Express and ask for the shuttle to pick up you. Since we waited for around 1 hour and at last called the Holiday Inn Express for shuttle bus service.

I was attending the Marc Anthony concert at the Allstate Arena, the hotel is literally a four minute walk to the arena.Perfect location if you are attending a concert. No traffic jam, no hassles. The Two Bedroom Queen Suite was spacious, comfortable and offers a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was really good with an array of options. Homemade waffles are a must! Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. We used the shuttle service to the airport to get to the CTA blue line to access the whole Chicago area. Drivers were punctual and courteous.

My good report today was based upon a previous stay there several years ago. I am specially commending Candlewood Suites Chicago today for waiving my cancellation charges. I booked the hotel one day in advance of a planned trip to Chicago which was cancelled due to a snowstorm.

The rooms were clean with a modern upgrade. Quiet area, very close to airport, and close enough to go downtown with out the hassle of downtown. All the amenity of home. Full size fridge, 2 top stove, microwave. Free wifi. Best place to stay. I would stay again on my next trip.

This was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. I was
a stranded traveler, and the room had everything I needed to be
comfortable. There was a nice, fluffy bathrobe, and the bed was very
comfortable. They had a great Keurig coffee maker in the room and a well-
stocked (if expensive) mini-bar. The staff was helpful, and the room was
very comfortable. Plus, the shuttle service to and from the airport was
top-notch.
