As I say, I wanted this hotel for its location; the hotel itself did nothing to detract from its convenient location: quite the opposite, it was admirable in its services. - Quiet place next to a pond,with nice view near the Wrekin hill, 10 miles from Shrewsbury, comfortable free parking. Beautiful venue. Extremely polite staff even at 1am when I checked in drunk after a friends wedding. The gentleman on reception called me sir despite me staggering in with beer down the front of my suit looking anything but a sir! Luxury rooms great setting in the cheshire countryside. Being self employed my self I understands they hours that go into a business to keep it running smoothly and I could see that this business is family run and they work very long hours but still have a happy smile on there faces when ever you see them, they couldn't do enough to please us. The whole place was lovely warm,
