The food was fantastic, they had really approached the "foody" nature of Ludlow very well. Concerns over the heating in our lovely room were addressed straight away and we were given a suite at no extra cost which was superb. The breakfast was of a very high standard and I would recommend this superbly situated hotel to everyone.

Beautiful venue. Extremely polite staff even at 1am when I checked in drunk after a friends wedding. The gentleman on reception called me sir despite me staggering in with beer down the front of my suit looking anything but a sir! Luxury rooms great setting in the cheshire countryside. The Reception Staff were very welcoming, and the services in the hotel were just as you would expect for a 4 star hotel. It was lovely sunny day when we arrived, and the main house, gardens and lake were stunning. I had read mixed reviews prior to visiting and was a little anxious as some were rather harsh about the decor and restaurant service. We were very pleasantly surprised.
