  Beautiful venue. Extremely polite staff even at 1am when I checked in drunk after a friends wedding. The gentleman on reception called me sir despite me staggering in with beer down the front of my suit looking anything but a sir! Luxury rooms great setting in the cheshire countryside. Tad expensive tho - I thought the hotel was fantastic, me and... hva folk sier » my partner spent two days for just some time away and to relax, and I must say we really enjoyed the stay, the facilities were excellent, the rooms were really cosy and the bathroom was very clean. We will definately be returning soon.

  We were actually booked out to the Holiday Inn as Grays Hotel decided to close for christmas but on check in at The Holiday In we received an ungrade to a deluxe room and the staffon reception were really helpful and great. - Freindly and helpful staff.   We only stayed for one night, but I have to say that this Hotel was superb. In terms of value for money, second to none. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are very attentive, the rooms are simple, but we don't need anything fancy, they were very clean and again exactly what we needed. I cannot r... hva folk sier » ecommend this hotel enough. - The stay was lovely, the room was nice and the bed so was very comftable. The complementry bottle of red wine was a surprise, although reception said they would change it to white for when we returned to the hotel later that evening and this was not done. But this was not a major problem
