We enjoyed our stay at Fairlawns. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. We were given a room in the gardens because we had our small dog with us and this was perfect for us, the room had everything we needed and it was cosy in the cold weather we were having.

This is no ordinary B & B but a century old pub situated in a quiet residential area, 5 minutes from the train station and 10 from the city centre, with friendly helpful staff and excellent food at a good price. The owner is really fantastic with little ones. He took our 4 month old and turned his mood around (he was getting bored and grumpy..) so he was happy and entertained during our evening meal – meaning we were actually able to eat our dinner.. The locals in the pub were very friendly also. Lovely food, clean rooms, and charming decor. Highly recommended all round!

Very helpful owners who went out of their way to make our stay excellent. The room was very comfortable; breakfast was varied and generous. When we got to Heythrop Park we asked to upgrade our room, this was done seamlessly. The hotel staff were pleasant and friendly. Location is excellent as are facilities. - The hotel was fantastic. The reception was warm and friendly with the log fire burning, the staff were friendly and tentative to everyone's needs. I chose the small double bedroom which turned out to be 'cosy', no that small you felt squashed. Situated in a lovely Cotswold's village but close to Oxford it was an excellent location for my business trip and also sightseeing.
