The Osney Arms Guest House - Bilder
Hva folk sier
It was a new guest house. It was very clean, very good quality of pillows and matrices, we had an excellent sleep. The entire decoration was minimal but beautiful. The stuff was very helpful and professional. Very close to the train station and the center. It was an enjoyable stay.
Lovely cute room (room 10) in the eaves, very quiet as it was at the back of the hotel. I booked late and so had a room with a shared bathroom which was also lovely and no problem popping across the landing to it. Good breakfast with fresh fruit, cereal and yoghurt and toast.alle vurderinger »
Very cosy and new, wonderful hosts and friendly fellow guests over a delicious breakfast. The room was small but well equipped and immaculate. The manager was extremely helpful and accommodating and I would certainly recommend this B&B to friends and colleagues.
Extremely clean, newly renovated, bathrooms and wiring modern, staff friendly and helpful, location excellent for walking tours and close to bus/train stations. Continental breakfast was generous. We gladly recommend this hotel to travellers.
The room was just the right size, extremely comfortable, with everything we needed. The accommodation generally was spotless and well presented. The non-ensuite room had a bath next door and if you like a bath, it had a great bath tub.
Very friendly reception and nice staff. Close (15 min walk) to downtown Oxford, so very convenient in terms of location. Recently renovated pub, so rooms freshly decorated and clean! Free WiFi. Great place to stay in Oxford!.
Just perfect for a weekend away. Brilliant B and B in an excellent location, helpful staff with lovely continental breakfast - especially the fruit salad! Sitting around an old rectory table was very convivial.
The king size bed, the friendliness of the staff esp Simon, the location, the quiet room and the power shower in the en suite bathroom. It was also very clean and I would definitely stay here again.
Brand new facilities in a recovered pub.
Very friendly staff.
Very close to Oxford city center (10mn walk) with parking solution in front or besides the hotel.
all new clean and tidy. just a walk from the city. car parking limited but good if you get a space. very helpful staff. would stay there again happily.
Great location just 5-10 minutes walk to the city centre, comfortable rooms, fast internet and the most friendly and helpful staff you ask for.
Fantastic location, very high standard of cleanliness. Newly refurbished room. Very comfortable bed, fantastic shower, plenty of hot water.
Very new and clean. Simon, the person on duty, was very welcoming and went out of his way to make eveyrone's stay very comfortable.
Comfortable, friendly, convenient. Quiet room, nice bath. Tastefully furnished. Prompt service at breakfast, nice choice.
It is near to central bus station or train station. Comfort room and clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Recently opened so everything very new and clean. Quiet accommodation, with 5-8 min walk into town centre.

The comfort & money value...
Friendliness.
Very clean, literally just opened and good sized room.
Clean and comfortable
Wonderful bed.
The bed was really comfortable. The room was clean.
It was a quite expensive fair per night, although given the overall high rating from the guests, it was the cheapest to the required location.
no mirror in room, which you need to have as the bathroom is shared and might be occupied when you need to put on your makeup!.
Ratings based on our top floor room 10, which is quite small with sloped ceilings (and we are only average height) - you bump your head if you stand up beside the bed. It also shares a bathroom, which is inconvenient IF you are staying for more than one or two nights and if you are an older couple (we were aware that we would share a bathroom). Finally, be aware that this hotel has no lounge.
Not much space in the common areas, but not a huge problem. Great breakfast though!.
It is not a big deal, but there isn't a lot of closet space in the rooms. They were working on it, so it may already be better.
Breakfast. Cooke breakfast would have been nice for the price.
Rooms on the small side, no cupboard, just open shelves for clothes, no rack for coat hangers.
Having twin beds instead of king, but it wasn't really a problem.
No desk to work.
GOT to get the parking sorted out. Lady who checked us in had no idea about parking (and contrary to the website statement, no permits were available) so we were left to roam the streets in hope that we'd find somewhere that wasn't permit only. Luckily we got there late afternoon Saturday, so found somewhere where the restrictions ended 6.30pm. However, potentially could have ended up parking a considerable distance away from the site.
nothing.
The staircases are a bit narrow for big luggage.
Receptionist not that friendly, no cooked breakfast.
Central heating went off at 10.30 and the place was freezing. Nowhere in the bathroom to put anything, not a shelf in sight. No wardrobe so your clothes are left to hang on the back of the door. Dreadful central table for breakfast where your supposed to chat with other guests, it was like a morgue.
Bit sterile and lacking in character
Parking could be a problem, we were lucky to get the last spot
No hanging storage so for a longer stay could be a problem.
The location. Although close to the City centre poor off road parking. Room compact and basic. More like a hostel really. £105 for 1 night was quite expensive.
