  only place we were able to find when booked & paid for accom for two nights at East Burton declined to honour contract as they had booked a wedding party!! I spent 4 hours driving around the area to find a B&B all fully booked? My daughter spent a long time on phone & on line and finally found Worgret Manor at 10 30 Pm person on duty... hva folk sier » agreed to stay up until I arrived about 11Pm. Highly appreciated. - the staff were over and above friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. the two night stay was made more pleasurable by their customer service. the hotel seems to be running down as it is for sale, hence no cooked meals, which was a bit disappointing for breakfast, but what was on offer was satisfactory. it would be a shame to see this beautiful old house go for redevelopment and not continue as a countryside hotel.

  We were suprised and thrilled to be given a suite with a sea view rather than the room with a garden view that we had booked. The staff were very pleasant. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Comfortable and cosy. The breakfast basket was a nice touch and of considerably better quality than at other hotels we have stayed in. Secure parking, whilst a short walk, was convenient and a welcome alternative to a pub - Our bedroom, dining/lounge room and kitchen all had large windows with great views over the harbour, the foreshore and down the Jurassic Coast. Amazing! I loved the décor of the bedroom, and in fact we had everything we needed. Hand delivered fresh croissants or the like to your room each morning was lovely. The restaurant served great meals also.

  The location was ideal. Also that they don't have hen and stag parties, which made a very pleasant stay. In addition, love the full English breakfast. Very yummy. - Lovely four poster bed, ideally located - within walking distance to everywhere. Lovely hotel! Lovely couple running it!
