The staff is very friendly, though she can't speak English very well, it's not a big problem. The atmosphere there is great. Everyone chat together and have breakfast together, but also have our own space, because there's many sofa to stay..

Considering money spent, the whole experience was ok. I would say they exceeded my expectations.
Location is pretty good, because the hostal is not far from La Puerta de Sol, the very center of Madrid.

The door of the room makes great noise, it's annoying during night time. The micro-stove stop too quickly, you can't really "cook" by it(no problem to heat up food).
The staff does not speak English which might be very inconvenient for
many travellers. The kitchen area was rather dirty.There was just one socket in the room which was only meant for the heater, so you couldnt charge your mobile or laptop. But hey...was only frigging 9 quid!!.
Reception hours are too short, no one answering the phone after 2pm.
Reception woman does not speak English and not professional enough and rude.
there was no one at the reception from 8:00 until 8:20.
Reception is open only till 14h, so if you arrive in the evening, you won't meet anybody. Refrigerator was too small, wi-fi connection too slow, there was a giant cockroach in the shower. No air conditioning in rooms, it's not easy to sleep when it feels like sauna.
The English communication is a big big problem for them.They only speak
Spanish Spanish and spanish!.
Big problem of communication in English with her and so lazy against my booking and paying money. It will be worst memory in Madrid. I do no recommend here to stay .. dirty toilet, shower room.
Dirty,we were separated after we had a positive answer on my question to stay with my friends in the same room.
After 2pm you can't find someone of the staff.
