The single room was larger than many others I have stayed in. Spacious and very pleasant public seating area. Very pleasant cafe/bar with good economically priced food.Perfect location and even though the rooms faced onto the main road, excellent double glazing ensured a peaceful nights sleep.

  We really enjoyed our stay and everything was beyond expectation. Perfect position for seeing everything Madrid has to offer.   It took about 15 min by walk from the Atocha to the hostal. And it is right opposite to the Prado Museum. For a late visit there, this could be ideal. The room is not very small considering what usually the location will imply. Room is clean and tidy. I especially like the small details of their linen which gave comfort to one's stay. There're also cafe and restaurants around, virtually solves a - The hotel is not very fancy, but has all the essentials (including wifi), and it is very clean. The location is very good as well, being close to the main museums and many popular bars and restaurants. Also, the Atocha railway station is close by, which includes an express bus to the airport which runs day and night at high frequency. In summary I would say the hotel is very good value for money indeed.

It is located in the heart of tourist Madrid, a very loud city. But the hotel is on a quiet side street. The bed was very comfortable. Nice linens and towels. WiFi worked throughout the hotel. This is a very good hotel to stay both after a flight and before you leave.
