The single room was larger than many others I have stayed in. Spacious and very pleasant public seating area. Very pleasant cafe/bar with good economically priced food.Perfect location and even though the rooms faced onto the main road, excellent double glazing ensured a peaceful nights sleep.

It is located in the heart of tourist Madrid, a very loud city. But the hotel is on a quiet side street. The bed was very comfortable. Nice linens and towels. WiFi worked throughout the hotel. This is a very good hotel to stay both after a flight and before you leave.

  The staff was really nice and at our service all the time. It was very clean and the two bedroom room is relly big and has it's own bathroom, and the price for 6 days was excellent. The location of the hostel is very good, everything in the center of Madrid is nearby, in the walking distance, especially the most famous museums in Madrid. Your really cant complain too much when it's about 30 euros a night in this location. Facility is a bit outdated, but it is cheaper and yet still a lot better and more comfortable than most hostels in Europe of that price range. It is clean for the most part and staff is friendly. We got a three people room for 30 a night.

  Room was so clean, sheets fresh and crisp, so quiet, family run hostal, everyone including the parents pleasant and lovely. The two brothers do a marvelous job. Our train back to Barna was not til 530 so they kept our bags after we checked out at 9 am until about 4 when we started for the train.   This was our third visit to the Cervantes, so you can see we like it! The staff, Fabio and his assistant, are very friendly, and you are at once on first name terms. The rooms are very small, so don't take too much luggage! They are comfortable and clean, and some are very quiet. The ancient lift, recently inspected for safety, is more efficient than many in large hotels! Above, all the location is excell - The Cervantes hostel is very well situated, 10 minutes walk to the Atocha train station and 10 minutes walk to the Puerta del Sol. The staff was very friendly and nice although they weren't always easily available. It was a great location in easy walking distance of all the major sights in Madrid.   The location was right down in the city and close to many sights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the building was of the old architecture, which was charming.
