An oldish hotel starting to show its age, but still a very comfortable and spacious room. It was my second stay at Brentwood, so they are doing something right :-)
Staff helpful and friendly. Nice and quiet despite the airport being so close, and having a group of teenage basketball players in the rooms alongside mine.

We stayed in room 3, it was clean and had everything we needed. We stayed with a toddler and baby and it was great. Fairly compact, but just enough room.
The manager drove us to the airport in the morning and was generally really friendly and accommodating.

The motel owner was absolutely delightful, so friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful with what to see and do around Wellington. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Shared bathrooms are totally nice- only shared with one or two other rooms, so it's hardly noticeable even and feels as private as you'd fancy. Really awesome staff with great service and truly gourmet food in downstairs café- just off Cuba street so super centrally located, but set on a quiet, safe side street. I'll be going back again for sure! Highly recommend whether you're new to Wellington or back for a repeat visit.

we were very happy with the accommodation, it was close to cuba st where there are plenty of eateries, the instructions for entry ( we arrived outside of office hours) were excellent and during office hours we were very impressed with the staff they were helpful and answered all our queries. -

While the room was quite basic, the bed was extremely comfortable and the linen very clean. Also, despite the very central location, my room was very quiet. The staff are the biggest asset to this hotel, they were so professional and friendly and no matter what time I left my room or what time I returned, it was always serviced upon my return.

Close walking distance to Lambton Quay and Cuba St. We had a carpark that we could use. A sheltered smoking area. A dairy almost directly across the road with another one a little further. Plus there was supermarket further down the road, all of which were convenient for those pesky little grocery top ups. The staff were helpful and friendly. Good price, good location, good service.

It exceeded my expectations. For being in the heart of the city, it was great value for the money. I was worried it would be the least of places we stayed in NZ. Instead it was the nicest. My daughter and I enjoyed the access to the pool and exercise equipment, and the lift to downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was most comfortable with a great kitchen, and our own washer / dryer. We would certainly recommend it to our friends.

I really liked the convenience of the location - right by Lambton Quay and Queen's Wharf, but not far from Courtney Place etc either. We had a nice, quiet room that was spacious and well laid out. Room was clean, comfortable and adequate for our needs. Access to and from carpark facility was excellent, safe and secure although it was a little tight in places especially if you own a large car. We ordered the full buffet breakfast. The selection of food available was excellent and the discounted price was an added bonus. Staff were friendly and inviting. -
Efficient location, good room layout for a small Studio style, all staff were very friendly and acknowledged us - from the reception to the staff tending to the rooms & in the service lift to cap park. As ex Wellingtonians, it was great to find somewhere stylish but modest where we now know we can have a good stay in the city at a good rate for a weekend.
