  The hotel was very nice. My room on the 5th floor looked over the pool. The room was a king size room and very spacious. Bed was great, pillows firm. I slept very well all 3 nights. The staff at check in were great and answered my questions later plus called a cab for me. - Clean comfortable rooms, nice and quiet and friendly staff.   The hotel was beautiful; I liked the Mexican decoration and it was very clean. I loved the room. The hotel is in downtown so it is great to walk near. It is one of the few hotels that has parking lot so that is great if you come driving to Guanajuato.   The hotel is fabulously old. With portraits and paintings in the lobby from years gone by. I love the old-world charm of the Spanish colonial building. The staff at check in was great, and was always willing to answer our questions - Great atmosphere, lots of character. Staff very helpful, we just didn't like the rooms offered.
