  The place is a newer conversion of an older building of condominiums. They have done a nice job. The rooms are adequately appointed, with good beds, bedside reading lamps, a desk area with comfortable chair, flat-screen TV, small fridge, wardrobe and safe.   The staff was most courteous and helpful. The hotel was a short walk to Villa Borghese, the principle point for my visit to Rome - Location just outside of main tourist area but surrounded by many restaurants and theatres was excellent. Local transport to all areas was also good. Staff very helpful at all hours.

  We stayed in the one bedroom suites with one double bed and a bunk bed. We booked the room just before we took the night train from Venice to Rome so I was not possible to check email at night. When we arrived Rome at 6:45 amand walked about 15 minutes and found the hotel. The sign at the door says we need to phone for the check in.   Excellent small new boutique hotel! we stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed every mintue. We ordered a deluxe room but when we got there they upgarded us to an executive room which was wonderful! big room, clean, quiet, good wifi and free water, fruits and snacks.   We visited Soggiorno Downtown late October. What a lovely bed&breakfast! The room was nice (very Italian in decoration), and clean with a good shower. Breakfast was nothing fancy but very good and enough for the first hours of walking that is inevitable when you want to see Rome properly.   I adored this hotel. From the moment we booked we received conformation emails from the owners, and then nearer the time, further emails to check if we required a taxi -- which we did and everything was booked and made simple for us.
