  Location !!!! At the arrival not so sure about this place. Once we met the owner (Manuela) it became "the peaceful oasis". Food/advice/information = ONLY the best from Manuela! AND "NO MOSQUITOS" !!! Free WiFi - Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast with some delicious homemade food. Would recommend to others and also return again here.   Excellent location for sightseeing. Beds and pillow (self selection)excellent as were the bathroom and breakfast. Highly recommended. - Staff were friendly and very helpful and efficient. I drove to the hotel and all I had to do was follow the signs to the Best Western Mediterraneo once I entered the city of Catania.I was able to find it with ease.

  This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed (and I know a lot of 4 stars in Europe). Fantastic decorated rooms in a 18th century building. Great breakfast (every thing of top quality). Highly recommended, it is not cheap but it worth every cent we paid. A choice of class. - It is not an anonymous hotel, you feel almost at home. The room was veryclean, quite and spacious. Having breakfast in the small garden was verynice, a good start for the day.The location is very convenient, it isvery close to the center of the city but you don't feel like being in atouristic area. The staff was extremely nice and competent. Definitely awonderful stay in Catania!

  Great location in the city, near to the Cathedral, the shopping street and lots of good places to eat. Not far from the bus to the airport but the taxi is only 20 Euro and is just a 15 minute ride (bus #437 will take you to and from a stop near the Duomo but then about another 10 min. Walk). After 11 pm, totally quiet. Safe and secure - What we like the most was the excellent customer service provided by Giuseppe. He was willing to help and always with a smile. He gave us recommendations of Catania. The room was just excellent, very comfortable. The breakfast so good and the location close to the tourist information office, The Duomo, Via Etna and most of the interesting places in town. Bravo Giuseppe !!!!!

  the location was great and the pick up by taxi as we arrived very late it was good to see a taxi driver with the name of the hotel waiting in arrivals. The staff were excellent. Especially Sergi and Fina. they made our stay very nice. Noisy during the day......not a problem as we weren't there! 3 mins walk to the bus station to/from the airport. - great location on the piazza duomo, beside the fish market and at the foot of via etnea. you cannot get any more sicilian.

  excellent location, near 2 main squares. at the Duomo square you can find 2 types of touristic buses - the standard citysightseeing and the other one cheaper 5 euro (1hour trip without stop). you also can find all main streets having begin at the square Duomo. the landlord is a very friendly woman, she helped me to book an excursion to Etna (must ... hva folk sier » see! half day was enough for mee; "without jeep" is not very tiring). the breakfast is served in a cafe neighbour to the appartment (croissant\briosh - This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

  Very nice staff, absolutely helpful, kind and friendly. The hotel is well-located, very close to the city center (app. 10 minutes walk from Piazza D'uomo), and very close to the fancy bar, Spinella :) On the other hand the rooms are not noisy at all. The prices are very good compared to the location and the service. And the breakfast was just love... hva folk sier » ly! The fresh bread with blood-orange juice and the desserts... Awesome! I can just reccomend Domus Hotel Catania to anyone! - Large, clean rooms, well equipped . The balconies facing Via Etnea are small, but yes, you do see Etna. Very nice staff, both at reception and breakfast. The central location on Via Etnea is convenient; of course it comes with street noise - but the solid window shutters together with the air condition solved our sleeping problems. In short, excellent value for money.

  The accommodation is very new, large and clean with excellent facilities. What made this place special were the hosts Giovanni and his wife. They were so extremely helpful and arranged a trip to etna for myself and my wife along with finding out about all the local transport. This was by far the nicest place we stayed and is in the middle of a bea... hva folk sier » utiful little area of farmland. The breakfast was nice with homemade cakes and Giovanni provided us with some of his own free range eggs! - great place to stay, very quiet at night, and safe car parking, Giovanni was always helpful and trying hard to help as much as possible.. even flexible if you want to stay longer I will definetly come back
