  I travelled from Finland with friends to the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel in July 2013. We had a wonderful stay with a very comfortable and extremely spacious room. Our friends were upgraded to a superior executive suite which was a nice surprise and we also received a big discount on parking.   The friendly staff especially Michelle who worked at the spa. she made us feel very welcome.   I liked the fact that you could get breakfast from room service any time you wanted and did not have to get up early and go to the dining room for it. The staff were excellent, the food was excellent and the location was excellent. The decor in the room was really nice too.   Very clean and modern B&B. Super friendly staff. Nice room and yummy breakfast. Highly recommend if you'll be staying around Kilkenny. It's not really within walking distance to City Center but they have a phone in the entrance area to easily call a cab (cost is about 10 Euro to get to the castle right near the town). It was one of the best places we stayed at across our 10 day trip. - Rooms were clean, there was a place to visit with other guests, very friendly owners, great breakfast, very clean, even though on a main street it was definitely quiet, convenient to reach with a car, able to have tea or coffee any time of the day/evening. - loved this place! cleanest place i have ever stayed, you could literally have eaten off the floor. rooms were small but very comfy and the husband and wife team were super great. a little out of the main town but that was kind of nice, the town was loud

  The staff were so nice and pleasant. Great atmosphere in the pub in which we stayed over. Breakfast is the nicest in Kilkenny town and is included in the room which is even better.   Really friendly staff! Pretty good location, it is out of the way of things, but Kilkenny is small so it's easy to walk to the shops, castle etc. You can meet some great people here, the atmosphere is really easy going. - Great feel and environment, would definitely be staying here again if I came back to Kilkenny
