Very friendly hosts , excellent attention from Carmel and the home made breakfast.the lounge area was fantastic, and quiet. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the view was spectacular. It was overall an amazing experience! Looking forward to staying there again sometime. -

The B&B overlooks a lake which had amazing sunsets. The room was really nicely decorated & comfortable. The owner made us feel welcome straight away & was very friendly. I would definately stay here again.

I was put in a room with hardly any wifi signal. I asked if I could have another room as I really needed Internet access and they were very helpful and accomodated my request. Breakfast included fresh fruits and other healthy stuff. Don't like the full Irish breakfast and this was a welcome change. -

Everything about Heather Lodge was fantastic. Jane, the owner, and her family are just incredible people. The lodge was simply great and the best experience was that checking in and out was based on trust. Of course breakfast was wonderful and the view of the lake from our family room a bonus. We will be happy to return the someday when we visit again.

Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean. Guest house was close to all amenities in Clifden. Parking at guest house for residents only. Free use of computer in lounge with tea/coffee making facilities in lounge as well. Owners on site and always ready to help and advise as to where the best places to eat and which are the best scenic routes .

I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable with a pleasant staff. - Since I was only sleeping at the hotel, I didn't have an opportunity to try their breakfasts or use the bar. However, generally the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the one dinner I had was of good quality.

We liked the location - very close to Clifden but far away enough for some peace and tranquility. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Our only regret was that as we were in Clifden for a concert we didnt have time to have dinner in the restaurant - it looked superb! We will definately be back! -

We visit Clifden annually for the Connemara Pony Show and Sharamore House was the best B & B we have stayed in. Just minutes outside Clifden town it was in a beautiful setting, nice spacious bedrooms and the food was excellent, using home produced and local produce. Will definitely go there again.
