The shower was to hot (temperature switcherdidn't work) Some loud people at 5 a.m. In the morning
Only a 5 minute walk from the Train and Bus station and close to the town centre. Host was very welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and warm and the double glazing kept the traffic noise out I slept well.
Close to busy road but well soundproofed. No one in when I arrived but man arrived within a few minutes. No other problems.
Very friendly, homely b&B. Delicious breakfast, staff very very helpful especially as I lost something and they helped me find it. Will definitely be back!

Everything about our stay was perfect. Pleasant helpful owners who met us , told us all we needed to know etc like breakfast times, keys, where to get a meal nearby. They even did our washing for us, no charge. Highly recommend this accommodation, great place, clean, comfortable, safe, good price too.

Maureen was lovely, the staff were very friendly. The room was very spacious and ideal for what I needed.

The front side of the building is a bit loud, especially if late night bar goes are staying at the house.

Very good that there are double windows on the streetside because when one of them opened you hear a constant sound like a cartheft alarm , although it can't be that I guess since it is constanly. Maybe a bit of a problem when staying in summer?...

We travelled as 4 adults and stumbled across arch house on our way back to Dublin. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for anything better and the price was great. The apartment was a great size and had to bathrooms with a well equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer which was extremely handy. The staff were fantastic and even offered to dry our washing for us. We had a full breakfast which was scrumptious. Free wifi was great also. Athlone was a very cute town and would definitely recommend staying at Arch house b & b.

We were greeted by Maureen the owner, the loveliest lady and very welcoming. Staff pleasant and helpful. The room was really nice and quite and the shower was great with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was excellent, plenty to eat. Near to bars, shops etc.

Only a short walk to Rail and Bus....Mohammed is very eager to please...mention of when Pakistan won the cricket at Melbourne in 1992 before a crowd of 85100 will get you an instant upgrade...guided to Sean's Bar ..900AD...below the Castle...Great B+B...food very good...printed menu in 4 languages...value for money!

Breakfast does not start until 0800 - a bit late if you want to make an early start to the day.
Conveniently located, good parking, good breakfast, comfortable rooms. Try Ken's Chinese Restaurant across the street - it's awesome!

Our room was a little on the small size. Parking was ok but I would imagine in the high season there might be insufficient space for all the guests.

Clean, comfortable, quiet. Breakfast service good and selections more than ample.
Staff seemed very hurried - attentive but seemed preoccupied. Parking is VERY tight - don't go through to the back unless you have a very small vehicle. Not as close to shopping and historic sites as anticipated.

Upgraded from two rooms to a two bed rooms apartment. Generous. Good choice on the breakfast menu. Everything you needed to prepare meals in the spacious apartment kitchen.
Living room too big to be well heated in february/march. Located in a narrow, dirty street with a lot of traffic. But no noice inside.
The staff were wonderful .the owners helped us arrange flights back to the uk due to a family death.i cannot thank them enough for their kindness to us.
