The room was very cosy and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep This was a stopover after returning for a holiday in the North so we would not have time to explore the Athlone. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful and directed us to some eating places in town. The breakfast was superb with a personal touch. We would definitely stay here again.
Friendly hosts who are very welcoming. Accommodation very clean and well maintained. Comfortable and quiet bedroom allowing a good nights sleep. Excellent breakfast cooked to order and served till 10 o'clock which suited our late nights! Only a five minute drive into Athlone makes it a very convenient base. On our way from Dublin airport, we stopped for the night to visit
Clonmacnoise the next morning, before heading to Galway. The friendly
hostess made us feel very welcome, with little treats joining the
traditional tea and coffee in the rooms. Our first full irish breakfast
was generous and tasteful, a sunny and perfect start of a wonderful
family trip.
Owners were extremely friendly, accomodating, and caring. Rooms (bed
& bath) were confortable and clean. Car parking was very convenient.
Breakfeast was very good, fresh/hot food and good variety.
