It was great, our car rental agency didnt have anoymore gpd and we were able to find the hotel with out a problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Set in its own grounds, very peaceful, excellent parking. Our room was excellent, large and spacious with good facilities. Beautiful, very relaxing, great to wind down after a few days on the road. In it's own grounds and away from the city. Food was very good and with a nice wine what more do you need. Spa very good but book in advance, also kitchen very busy so if you want to eay early book also. Staff very nice and very helpful. This place is a gem

Couple who owned it were very very friendly and helpful. I felt so welcomed. Very clean - I was in a room with a shared toilet (it must have been cleaned hourly!). Mini fridge in room is such a bonus especially as there is a grocery store across the street. Great location! -

Good location. The lovely room (junior suite at the attic) was smartly decorated, spacious and verry clean. Owners were absolutely charming and we felt well looked-after (although they don't speak english). Great breakfast with a real sense of old fashioned hotel. Free wifi with good connection. Breakfast was extremely good value for money and I would recommend this a there is nowhere else that is obvious and within a short walk.
If you were using this hotel for a city break you would need to use your car or public transport. It is on the outskirts. -
