It was very reasonably priced for the location just a block from the beach and entertainment. It was clean and had a fridge and microwave. Nothing fancy, your typical older functional motel room but it served the purpose well for the money and location. I know, I have stayed at Hampton Beaxh many times,. I always appreciate the owners/staff which are on the premises every time...They are very friendly and happy to accomodate your needs to make your BEACH stay happy. Very nice husband/wife.

Being right near the water is a plus. Only a block away. The staff was friendly. The room was small and cozy, but not too small. The room was nice and liked the chairs outside each room for a little sitting area. tawlet to small room. Location close to beach & board walk. It was quiet when we were there. However, it was before school was out and during the week. We did eat at some awesome seafood in the area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Good location when seeing a concert at the casino ballroom Allocated parking which is at a premium on a busy weekend. The price was a little cheaper than the last place we stayed the Hampton House, the check-in manager was nice. Relatively inexpensive Offered car parking Friendly and helpful staff Large room WIFI. Beds were firm. Location to beginning and finish of Smuttynose race. The Bed and TV. Thats all there was. Definitely a one night room. location to beach. Not much. No ice machine or coffee maker. The toilet broke but they did provide us with another room no questions asked immediately in the middle of the night. walls a bit thin when trying to sleep, close road with loud motorcycles made for not an easy night but all in all was happy. Creaky floorboards in the room above us was kind of annoying and kept us up. There were no shampoo or tissues. The ashtrays and stinky cigarettes. We had requested a non-smoking room but there was cigarette holes in the bedspread. The room next to us also had about 10 young people staying there, they were in front of their room and drifted in front of ours. When we went to go out in the morning the chairs were right in front of our door. They left a mess of bottles and cigarettes everywhere. Traffic noise late into the night. The room lacked insulation as w were waken by people walkind and talking in other rooms. Beds not comfortable. No door on the freezer in the fridge. The table in the room was wobbley. All the TRASH that behind the building when you look out the bathroom window. Very disturbing. :(. The rooms are horrible, in a bad state of repair, Smelly, dingy, filthy, air con is noisy, road noise. Dirty carpets - made your feet black so we could not walk around without shoes, no coffemaker, scratchy towels, no tissue, no toilet paper, the room went down hill, small bathroom with a moldy shower curtain, and on our 2nd night we woke up a 3 in the am to a very loud drunken party downstairson the deck, they woke up a lot of other people too that were not happy either. Stained carpet Questionable cleanliness of bed sheets Bathroom in poor condition. Room 4 had a VERY tiny sink with a shelf built right above it; impossible to wash your face, or even brush your teeth without smashing your head. Carpets dirty, housekeeping actually made the bed with a pillow in the middle under the covers, and just threw the blankets on top of mine, never cleaned the sink, toilet or shower/tub. Ceiling tiles in disrepair, NO PHONES in room, scary area of town where there was a murder down the street the day we arrived. NO maid service at all on day 2. Could not get hot water from shower. Only stayed one night so we weren't asking much.. No pool, no ice machine, parking lot spaces way too small, too expensive, cheap with soaps, shampoos.
