  Miguel the owner - couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, in fact all the staff without exception were friendly and welcoming. The interior design of the place is to my tastes. Never fe - The hotel is quite innovative and nice. The shower is very good, the breakfast included is quite nice, the 24 h coffee and tea, the location, the kindness of the staff and the design make this hotel a great choice in Madrid. If you like late breakfasts, Artrip let you eat until noon... It is a 3 minute walk from the Lavapies Metro Station and the Carrefour market, and a 10 minute walk from Via del Prado and Atocha train Station.   We stayed here just one night here after our flight arrived in Madrid and we needed a hostel that was affordable and within walking distance to the train station for our early departure the next morning. For a double room with a private bathroom and free wifi, I thought it was worth the price. The receptionist was friendly, the hostel was clean an... wat mensen zeggen » d in good condition. It's not a fancy building on an attractive boulevard, but it's within a short walking distance to the train station, which is all - It's an hostal, not an hotel. Said that, everithing was really good: WiFi decent, clean room (they clean it every day) and the staff is very helpful. Position is very good: really close to atocha, to the retiro gardens, the Prado, the modern art museum.. And close to city centre as well. In case in the district there are too different bars/pubs..

  It was my first experience to stay in a hostel. And I was not disappointed. The room windows were faced inside that is why it was quietly. The room was small, but it was very clean. The room was cleaned every day. Beds were very wide like double. The mattress and pillow were quite comfortable, linen was clean and of good quality. The insulation is not good, but it is a disease practically of all 3 & 4 stars hotels. - Everything. Holiday inn Express without the frills yet still a personal touch. Right downtown. 1 block or so from Gran Via subway (metro station stop. Safe. 24 hr desk. 3 levels of security; building, hotel, then your room. Maid rearranged room for us after first night to better suit our needs(2 twins beds to a pseudo-double) and tidied our sloppy shoes. Ultra clean. Like spotless. Pressed sheets. I found this property with a price filter but will make a bee line there next time.

  Stayed here twice..flying to Marrakech and on the return flight back to Madrid stayed overnight to fly out the next morning to the states. Very clean..had a problem with ac n after several complaints the manager moved us to a room where the ac was working. Decent food..but next door is a supermercado which is nice and we bought a bottle of Frangel... wat mensen zeggen » ico for $12 which is much more in the states. Nice and convenient to airport and their shuttle picks you up and takes you back. Taxis have min$35 char - Breakfast was amazing starting from 4:00 am which is great for passengers taking early flights. I was given a room with poor internet connection which I really needed, when I requested another room for this reason I was given another one at once without any hassle and even the receptionist suggested if the problem persisted in the new room to tell him and he will connect me to the internet provider support directly. I was really impressed. The new room had very strong reception.

  The staff was really nice and at our service all the time. It was very clean and the two bedroom room is relly big and has it's own bathroom, and the price for 6 days was excellent. The location of the hostel is very good, everything in the center of Madrid is nearby, in the walking distance, especially the most famous museums in Madrid. There are... wat mensen zeggen » various shops and resturants just across the hostel. We were really satsified :) - The location is great. The value is great. Your really cant complain too much when it's about 30 euros a night in this location. Facility is a bit outdated, but it is cheaper and yet still a lot better and more comfortable than most hostels in Europe of that price range. It is clean for the most part and staff is friendly. We got a three people room for 30 a night.
