  I liked how the room that I got was exactly what was shown in the pictures on the web site. I also liked that the staff speak good English and that they are very helpful. Also, it is centrally-located and just a few minutes' walk from Callao Metro station. I especially liked how clean and neat the room was and that they gave me my request -- to ha... wat mensen zeggen » ve a room with a window, as I can get very claustrophobic with rooms without one. - I should say this is a perfect Hostal! Location is perfect, 5 minutes to Sol station or Gran Via! Staff are sooo nice and helpful, giving me a lot of advice and help me resolve the problem of travel adapter! And also need to mention, the design and decoration of the room, surprised and considerate and sweet! With the price and location, I do think this Hostal deserves highly recommended.

  Location superb - pedestrianised shopping strip right outside your door. Very safe area. Extremely helpful staff-thanks Mary and George for a great and comfortable stay. Rooms are bright, decently sized and everything works unlike some 4 star hotels I've stayed at. Fast Wi fi connection.   First of all, the location of the hostel is great, being located in the heart of Madrid, a few minutes away from Gran Via and all the cultural places. Also it is really easy to arrive from the airport. Second of all, the ratio quality-price was great taking into the consideration that my room was quite modern and I enjoyed the shower with hidromas... wat mensen zeggen » sage. The room was very clean and quiet. Next, the staff was young, professional, very friendly and with good communication skills (they spoke English - The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!

  I spent three week in hostel Estrella and I was really satisfied. The hostel was very clean and landlady was really nice lady. She don't speak english but she always try to help you. Hostel have the best location. Is next to Grad via and Plaza de Espana. If you want to party in the night you will love it the location. The room was small, but we had a lovely large window with french doors, very clean, rooms cleaned daily, very quiet even though in the centre of the city right off Gran Via.   Position was good, staff and room too. Our room was a little too noisy because nearby we had the owner's apartament.   The staff at Numancia, especially the man on the front desk the majority of the time are excellent. All our needs were met and any requests were willing to be accommodated including leaving our luggage there for a whole day (as our train trip was at night). We were even allowed to hang out at the hostel and use the wifi and bathrooms! - The best ... wat mensen zeggen » thing about this hostel is definitely the friendly guy that seemed to be working for my entire stay. Great asset to the place. Further to this, the location is great. Maybe 10 minute stroll to Plaza Del Sol. The room itself was perfectly adequate. Compact but comfortable.

  Excellent excellent value! The Cuban man running the place is very friendly and helpful, interesting to talk to in general if you can speak some Spanish. In a great location with lots of bars, tapas shops, short walk to all the major attractions. Simple, but very very clean and neat. Room for three persons has no free space at all, but there is refrigerator. Two separate toilets. Room for four persons has more free space and there two bunk beds.

  Er stond iedere dag een ontbijtje klaar en er werden hiervoor geen kosten in rekening gebracht. Locatie van het hotel was prima. En de kamers werden keurig schoon gehouden. - Koelkastje en waterkoker op de kamer, zodat je zelf koffie/thee kon zetten. Erg fijn dat er elke dag toast, jam, smeerkaas, yoghurtje etc. op de kamer werd gezet.
