  Location superb - pedestrianised shopping strip right outside your door. Very safe area. Extremely helpful staff-thanks Mary and George for a great and comfortable stay. Rooms are bright, decently sized and everything works unlike some 4 star hotels I've stayed at. Fast Wi fi connection. Location is very good, 7 minutes of walking to the Puerta of Sol. Around Hostal are many cafes an restaurants.

  Enorm behulpzaam personeel, propere kamers, comfortabele bedden, makkelijk bereikbaar - Er was een mooi uitzicht over de Gran Via wanneer je op het balkon stond, voor de prijs die je betaald is het zeker de moeite waard want je zit echt midden in het centrum. Het personeel is aardig, er is gratis internet (draadloos) en een tv+dvd-speler.

  Location was excellent, a very very short walk from the Puerta del Sol. Very very very good value for the price. Place was clean, and everything worked fine. Staff was very hospitable. Honestly I've stayed at better places, but I certainly enjoyed my stay, and have no real complaints. Would certainly stay here again. - We LOVED it here! The location was fabulous and very convenient. We were so sad to leave!

  I loved there! You are really in the center of Madrid so no need to buy any tickets for train or so. Near all the biggest madrid atracctions and Chueca if you are gay :-). Very clean simple hostal and nice personal. Come on..it´s too cheap too. there´s a lot of restaurants around and the metro is very near anyway.
