  Rudy made my experience in Madrid so great. He's so helpful and goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to making the guests happy. The hostel has a huge common room so it's very easy for people to meet each other. The other staff members are equally as nice. It was very easy to go up and talk to them at the desk even if I had a quest... wat mensen zeggen » ion as simple as, "What would you recommend?" The hostel is also close to the city center so I didn't need to buy transport passes. I will definitely - Could not fault this hostel, staff where really helpful and friendly and hostel was perfectly clean and you got a good free breakfast. It also is in an excellent loaction right near the cool Malansa area with all vintage shops and cool bars and you could walk to any major attraction in 2Omins. As a solo female traveller I felt totally at home, would stay here again if I was in madrid and would recomend to anyone!

  While Benemar isn't fancy, it is comfortable enough, considering how relatively inexpensive it is. The man at reception is extremely friendly, and if you speak ev - The price was great and the room was comfortable and clean. It was more spacious than many of the other hotels we stayed in this trip. The location was fairly close to the center of town and the Prado. The man who runs the place has been there for many years and he was friendly and helpful, although he doesn't speak much English. He recommended good nearby restaurants for breakfast, and he was available any time we needed him since he lives upstairs. Even though our room was on the street, it w
