  This didn't feel like any other hotel, it was like you were staying in someone's home - from the decor to the breakfast to the way we were treated. The double room we got was very comfortable and it looked like a little cottage in the city. The location is very central - we were in the old town and we could walk to the Guggenheim and La Ribera Market. The day we stayed in Bilbao, th - We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful (and spoke excellent English). The room was so homey-it was nice to go out in the rain and go "home" to a warm and comfortable room. The heaters worked quickly and the room was large and clean. The breakfast in the morning was good-tea/coffee and an assortment of bread products (and fruit and yogurt, if desired).   We stayed here for one night and found the staff fabulous. We were emailed once we booked to confirm they had the baby travel cot we needed. They also offered us a baby bath. While there they even shared a couple of toys with our daughter which she loved. The room was comfortable and the washrooms were clean. It was an easy walk to the Guggenheim ... wat mensen zeggen » and then to the old section for a delightful evening of pinchos. - I will return to Bilbao and will definitely stay in Pension Zubia, a budget friendly lodging -Excellent excellent excellent accomodation- clean, ideal location ,warm friendly service. Breakfast is not served but there is lovely coffee served directly opposite building .No wonder it has got such good reviews.Thank you

  Excellent studio room in the heart of Bilbao - ours had a little balcony looking onto the lovely Old Town street. Clean, spacious, comfy bed, lots of natural light. Very short walk from metro and tram stops, as well as all the old town sites, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Guggenheim is a pleasant 30 min stroll along the river, and the Centro... wat mensen zeggen » area is easily accessible by foot or the metro/tram. The wonderful staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - highly recommend! - Really lovely apartment run by wonderful staff who were very accommodating and gracious to us after a misunderstanding with payment. The owner even offered us umbrellas due to the rainy weather! Apartment is spacious, super clean and right in the heart of Old Town. It's also very close to the metro making it easily accessible by foot and public transport. I would definitely recommend Arriaga Suites!

Location was fine, caught Bizkaibus outside Airport Terminal straight to Centre (get off 2nd stop) and 10 minute walk to the Hotel. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby at reasonable prices. It is centrally located in downtown Bilbao walking distance from everything and anything. The hotel would best be characterized, at least subjectively, as business luxury: it is luxurious but not plush. Lastly, it was a very good deal through letsbookhotel.com during the period we stayed. Highly recommended for top level comfort.

  It was next to the old town which was within 10mins walk of the hotel (although up a hill on the way home). We felt the old town had a lovely buzz in the evening, very Spanish and not many tourists. The hotel was very clean, and paying 50 euros a night made the hotel extremely good value for money. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from the airport, ... wat mensen zeggen » which costs about 25 euros. - This was a stop for convenience for us before getting the ferry early next day. It was easy to find and park and easy to get to the port in 30 minutes. The parking was secure and the room large and comfortable though a bit impersonal. Due to time restrictions we ate at the hotel which was fine.....not outstanding but quite good and suited us for the last night in Spain.
