  Het hotel ligt in een achterbuurt en het was heerlijk om de auto in de garage van het hotel te kunnen stallen, voor een redelijke prijs. - Goedkoop, hotel is in renovatie maar onze kamers waren al gerenoveerd.Zaten dus voor lage prijs in een "nieuwe" kamer.

Each room had a unique theme. Arty! Location in the Casco Viejo (old quarter) is charming and romantic.   This didn't feel like any other hotel, it was like you were staying in someone's home - from the decor to the breakfast to the way we were treated. The double room we got was very comfortable and it looked like a little cottage in the city. The woman at the desk was very helpful and personable, she was always willing to help us with anything we ne... wat mensen zeggen » eded. The location is very central - we were in the old town and we could walk to the Guggenheim and La Ribera Market. The day we stayed in Bilbao, th - We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful (and spoke excellent English). The room was so homey-it was nice to go out in the rain and go "home" to a warm and comfortable room. The heaters worked quickly and the room was large and clean. The breakfast in the morning was good-tea/coffee and an assortment of bread products (and fruit and yogurt, if desired).   First we were surprised that it was not a separate building, it is only one floor in a big building and the owners are living there. The room was small, but there was a bathroom inside, and was nicely furnished and clean! There were also shampoos and gel which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately we didn’t receive a room with balcony to the square, ... wat mensen zeggen » but we have to admit that we booked on the same day of arrival and it turned out to be more silence the room that we received. Beautiful bars and rest - We were on the Camino del Norte and Bilbao was our last stop on this segment . this pension is ideally located beside the Cathedral on the Old City and on the route forward. We intend to stay here again when we resume the Camino next year. The shopping districts and indeed the Guggenheim were only a short walk away (say 15 minutes to 25 minutes) while there was plenty of restaurants etc in the Old City. A very helpful and obliging host in this Pension.

  The room is inside a student residence and looked brand new. It was spacious with a nice bathroom and there was also a cooking area with kitchen utensils. There is a communal area on the ground floor where you can meet other travellers. The men on the reception were very friendly and helpful. The residence is situated in a mixed African/Arab neigh... wat mensen zeggen » bourhood, but it didn't seem unsafe. It is easy to walk to the Guggenheim from the residence and it is also close to Abando station. - Close to train station and old town. Lovely helpful man on reception that spoke English and gave us information. Also moved us to a different room on request. Free wifi. This place is uni halls of residence, so rooms are small with single beds, but you have bathroom with shower +clothes line over it, and little kithchen area with cooking hob, microwave and fridge. We really value the small things like being able to make a cup of tea when you want one.
