  This was the cleanest Motel I had ever been in. I was thoroughly impressed with the layout of the unit, the space allotted, the facilities. The price was incredibly good value for what you were getting. Staff were friendly and approachable. Close to beach and only a quick eight minute walk up the road to supermarkets and a few fast food resturan... wat mensen zeggen » ts. Close to bus stops. - omg. for what it's worth, this place is value for money and close to the tourist spots. e.g. Sandfly bay to see the penguins/seals, the castle and CBD of Dunedin. The staff were so helpful and we were grateful and excited to see the penguins on the recommended bay that cost nothing. Definately a place to come back to. The cadbury factory was worth it too.

  We were lucky enough to be given a gorgeous room in the old villa............not one of the motel units. Our room was just lovely with most of the original features of the villa in tact. It had real atmosphere. I don't think I would have been thrilled to get one of the 'ordinary' units. - We were in the front room of what used to be an old hou... wat mensen zeggen » se. The room was large with beautiful, high pressed-tin ceilings. The bed was good, we also had a lounge on which to watch TV. It was all beautifully clean and although on a fairly major road was relatively quiet at night.

  The location was perfect as it was close to the Dunedin Northern Cemetery which we wanted to visit , We will be staying at Bella Vista again next year. - The lady who checked me in and delivered the lovely breakfast was superb - very friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem at all :) Great Job!

  Very handy to transport and food outlet, especially when we didn't have a vehicle. We could walk to shops and food outlet. Great customer services skills, we were able to check in earlier for convenience, and were also able to receive service after hours at no extra cost. - I liked the way the staff greeted us by saying they had turned the hea... wat mensen zeggen » ter on and closed the curtains for us. They were kind enough to draw a route on a map to take us to the rugby. - Very friendly lady owner and staff. Most impressed with presentation of motel unit and could not fault being at this motel.   Having previously stayed here I was more than happy to return and was not disappointed. We had a comfortable bed and nice room overlooking George St. The bathroom was good and the shower was excellent!! The owner is very friendly and helpful. Assistance is offered including luggage storage on booking out and offering the lounge and kitchen area ... wat mensen zeggen » facility for use outside of guesthouse booking. The guesthouse was full but it was very quiet. A pleasure to stay here and will return. Reasonable - The owners were really friendly and informative, our plane arrived late and they were great to stay up to wait for us and the place is affordable. They even recommended us a cheap car rental I m glade they were so helpful and friends. I would definitely recommend this place to friends n family
