Valentina spent the entire afternoon with us - We travelled 3 weeks through the Basilicata and liked every moment of it. But Matera and the Torretta ai Sassi B&B were the absolute highlights of our trip. Mooie moderne kamer met badkamer. - Our host Sylvia was very welcoming and when we got lost driving into Matera she came to get us in her car. The room was large with tasteful furnishings, two big windows and an elegant bathroom. We were able to use the printer to get maps for our onward journey, Sylvia and her sister Eleonora were more than helpful. Breakfast was served in a communal kitchen area which was also ava - This is one of the best BB's we ever stayed. The room was very convenient, quiet and nicely decorated. The location is just perfect in the heart of Matera with a walking distance to all interesting places, but also 10 minutes walk to the train station and to the airport bus. The owner is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is good and nicely served.
