Appartment was very clean with plenty of room with kitchen well supplied, we didnt here any noise from any other appartments any night as the hotel/app' was full at the time. I am 56 years old and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The health spa and gym are excellent with great staff so do try them.   Brendan was very welcoming and helped us to settle in well. Our overnight stay was very enjoyable with a hearty breakfast to start the day. Our host was most obliging with information.   The facilities at Achill House were very good and this combined with the friendliness of the staff, made the stay very enjoyable. As I have a partial disability, the staff were excellent in helping me cope with the stairs and we were offered a choice of different rooms to suit my disability. I would certainly recommend this B&B to anybody staying in the Cork a - The staff is very friendy, and any issue you may have they will try to solve it. The room i was given it was in the ground floor close to the main door, so I ask for another one on the top, and I was changed without problem. As well in the room was a little bit cold and the staff turn on the heater. Also I was offered a tea and cookies when I arrived. The hostal is 10 min walking to san patrick street, when i stayed it was quiet and i had a good rest there, the beds are quite comfortable.

  The place is absolutely outstanding. We actually took quite a few photos outside and inside. The omellete for breakfast was amazing and I wish I had of ordered it the previous day. My wife also loved the breakfast choices and all were top quality. About a 15 min walk to the bus terminal, but well worth the walk. We shopped at the Blarney Woolen Mill - we went to the Castle Medieval dinner and really enjoyed that. We drove up to the Cliffs of Moher. There was a wedding while we were there and we observed the facilities decorated in an excellent manner.
