I was pleased to be picked up by a family member from the airport ( Private taxi 700 rupees) as the guest house is very much in the centre of the maze of alleys in Varanasi which initially did seem daunting. After a walk around it quickly became less of a problem to find your bearings. Use the river as a point of reference.

This is a lovely guesthouse to escape too in Varanasi. It is being done up at the moment room byn room but being made very beautiful. It is a family run business and like it says on the business card 'You arrive as guest and leave as friend'. The staff are all excellent - especially the managers Vivek and Raoul (sorry if names are spelt wrong).

I stayed two nights in this guesthouse. The front desk manager Rahul and the owner welcomed me warmly. The room is spacious and relatively clean. Rahul offered to assist me with the half day tour of Varanasi. He had me acquainted with Hinduism, precisely in the holy city of Varanasi. The guesthouse has a friendly, family atmosphere. You can easily chat with the owner, staff, cook. Thank you for your kindness.
