Bangalore Hotels

We were American tourists, and my girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights in a room at the Cottage. The service is wonderful and attentive. The room is comfortable and clean. For the price, it is a great value! The only minor inconvenience was the occasional lack of electricity. Another reviewer mentioned that the Cottage had a back up generator. If they do, it sometimes cannot handle the length of the outages. Lack of electricity also means occasional lack of hot water. This will inevitab - Malcolm

This is a very well run hotel. It is privately owned and it shows as they try harder to please their customers than many of the international chains that I have stayed in. It is ideal for anyone who wants a centrally based and extremely good value hotel in central Bangalore with a good sized, well maintained double room with A/C and fast and cheap wifi internet access, but doesn't need the extras like a swimming pool, gym etc that you usually end up paying for and never getting to use! During my month stay I have asked for countless things and administrative help and received nothing less then a smile and proactive support. The staff is also very knowledgeable on questions about Singapore - which is helpful when your new to Singapore and your trying to re-locate. I arrove at the hotel at 3 am after traveling around 26hours. I was greeted by a manager outside the front door with a big welcoming smile. He escorted me to the room to ensure it met my needs and checked me in right there. The room was beautiful and I loved the bathroom. My only complaints were that the bedding did not include a top sheet and there was no alarm clock. Otherwise it was incredibly comfortable and stylish. The room attendent didn't miss a thing.
