  We stayed at the Hotel Vestmannaeyjar for 3 days and it was absolutely amazing! First of all we had booked a basic double bedroom but we soon found out that the owners had given us one of the suites, as it was available. Moreover, the owners were lovely and helpful people! From day-1 both they gave us excellent hints about what to see, where to go... wat mensen zeggen » , what was opened in this season... They were also very kind to help us book a car. This hotel was WONDERFUL and really made our stay on the island ev - This is our second stay at Hotel Vestmannaeyjar in two years and we hope to go back again. The owner, Magnus, is such a nice person. He keeps us coming back along with the fact that we love Heimaey.

  I enjoyed staying in this guesthouse. It looked more like being at home than in a guesthouse. The rooms and the bathroom, as well as the dining room were spotless. The owner gives you plenty of advice about the area. - We felt very home, the atmosphere was calm and nice. Breakfast was really good a - You can raech the farm from the Ring Road (nr. 1) very easily, on a normal road (300-400 meters). The family was very friendly, they were really cute. The breakfast was continental (rolls, butter, ham, salami, eggs, cheese, tomato, cucumber, coffee, tea, cereals, milk, everything you want). You can have a dinner too, it's a menu, with soup, a main course, and dessert. They make everything, and it's very tasty. It's cheaper than usual for a bigger portion. We loved that place.   My dad and I visited Iceland in October of 2006. We'd originally intended to just drive through the country and find accommodations when we felt like we needed them. It quicky became apparent that wasn't going to work. We needed a "home bas" and Dad was adamant that he didn't want to stay in Reykiavik so we journeyed out a bit. I can tell you how... wat mensen zeggen » we got to this town but we pulled into the local hotel. They were expensive and full but gave us the name of this place and another. When we arrive - The location was a 5 minute walk to the restaurants, and away from any noise. The price was very reasonable for the 3-bed self-contained apartment. Breakfast cost extra, but was generous and had a good variety. Wi-fi was included and worked very well. The apartment was comfortable and spacious - good size bathroom, lounge, dining, kitchenett and bedroom. The lady was very lovely and helpful. There was on-site parking. I highly recommend this for a relaxing stay.

  This was the best place we have booked in our 7 nights in Iceland. The landlord was funny and he prepared a very good breakfast with waffles and fish based food.He was a nice company. Also the house is very clean and comfortable.   Really clean and spacious home. We were so comfortable. It was also a good value if traveling with a family or group of friends. We all had our own rooms and beds.   The guesthouse was incredible!! We loved the location. It is situated in a very nice neighborhood that is conveniently located a block from the pool facilities. And the pool recreation center was incredible after spending the day hiking! The owners were wonderful to deal with, very helpful and accommodating. We absolutely highly recommend the lovely Guesthouse Árny! - Normal room, comfort place for breakfast. Only 4 rooms on the floor with shared bath, so no queue.
