  Our stay at Concordia apartments was excellent! It is very clean, modern, with all the equipment you might need. The owner is very kind and helpful! Our towels were changed every 2 days (which is unusual for apartments) and it was completely cleaned in the middle of our 10 days stay! The shops and the bus station is very near, and the beach is lov... wat mensen zeggen » ely. A great location if you want to stay out of the old town which gets very crowded! But still, it is only a ten minute bus drive to it if you want - Kate and her Mama were excellent hosts with great tips on where to eat. It is the first apartment that we have stayed in that has complete instructions and directions. The apartment is spacious for a couple with a pharmacy immediately below. Close to bus stops (100 yards) and a 10 minute trip to the old city. Taxi rank just past the bus stops. Supermarket approx 300 yards away. Getting to the building is easy; even if you don't like climbing stairs, there are not so many to get to the building.   We stayed at the apartment for a week in October. The owners were lovely and very helpful. The apartment was very modern, clean and had everything we needed. The apartment is 10 mins from the beach and bars and restaurants and 5 mins from the bus stop that will take you on the 10 min journey to the old town. There is also and mini supermarket under the apartments. The location is 250 m to the copacabana beach, 2 min walk away from bus stop to the old town, and 5 min. walk from the street with a lot of bars and restaurants.

  Hotel Adria has the most amazing view in Dubrovnik! Hotel rooms are the best we've stayed in - very modern, decent size, comfortable beds, nice clean modern bathrooms and large balcony with, again, an amazing view over the marina! The staff at the bar are very friendly, as are the front desk staff who are also very helpful. Everything is very clean. Very nice view over the port of Gruz. Our room had a big terrace and from what I could see most of the rooms have them. Free parking (in abundance), very easy to find, situated on the main road so if you are with a car very practical for trips to other towns along the coast (no need to enter the city). All in all, to me it seems like very good value for money. In most countries that I have been to you could find rooms like this only

  While we had to phone (the number is on the door) to let the owner know we had arrived he came promptly and let us in. No 24 hour staff but lots of useful information (including a Croatia Lonely Planet for use by guests). Pleasant terrace with good views. 15 min or so walk to the old town (uphill on the way back) - there is a bus from directly out... wat mensen zeggen » side (which also goes to the bus station) - Friendly and helpful staff. As it os said, it os about 1 km away from the City walls but it is a nice walk. Moreover, it is located near one of the only places where you can park your car for free. It has a wonderful view in the terrace and you really feel like you are at home. It has some beaches nearby with a classy restaurant.

Of course, it is impossible to reach with car, motorcycle and even with byke any address in the Old Town. But the feeling to be part of this beatiful place is unforgetable. GPS coordinates of the nearest parking: 42 38' 32.37"N 18 06' 37.29"E - We stayed in 2 different studios here one on the ground floor and one at the top of the house. Both are nice but the view from the top over the Dubrovnik rooftops is fab ... just open the window, sit up on the high stools considerately provided and sip a glass of vino - Bliss both during the day and night time. Location is great right in the middle of Dubrovnik old town - close to everything.

  Hostess was wonderful--very friendly and accommodating. The bedroom was gorgeous, charming and comfortable. It is located in an older building that is being refurbished and we loved being able to see all the old original tile/marble/etc, although some people might consider that a negative.
