  We booked this hostel because it was the cheapest we could find and didn't really expect much. BUT this was our best stay so far, Louis is extremely friendly and helpful, we felt at home at his hostel and if we didn't have a flight to Belem, we would have stayed longer. The lay-out of the rooms is spacious for Rio, and the AC was nice an - rooms are clean, with daily room cleaning during your stay, shower hot and good pressure, bed and pillows comfortable, staff speak fluent english and are all very polite and helpful. The location is great, about 700m from metro, bus stops even closer, taxi's driving past front door at any time of day or night, very accessible, walkin distance to arches of lapa, and night life area. breakfast in the morning is delicious and a large variety.
