We were there for only two days but covered a concert, movie, dinner, local shops and just walking around town with the convenience of going back and forth to the cottage which was maybe 3/4 of a mile from the center of the town. The Manager of property, Melissa, was polite and very receptive to whatever our needs were. Excellent towels in the Bat - extraordinary design features, from lighting to curtains to chairs, everything very relaxing and the beauty of it created a mood of comfort and pleasure. The cottage was secluded and very private, which was a big plus.

The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, and we did not feel out of place with our 4 boys aged 11-20. It was expensive, but then everything in New York is expensive! How is that five star hotels still can't understand to threat guest as individuals? When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny. Different individuals are intresting, perfect robotized hotels are not.
